I've been accumulating gear for about 4 years now, and it's evolving. Much of my 1st round was too large, as a big guy you get used to buying loose fit clothing, but that's a bad idea for riding gear.

Also, as I switch from a ST bike to a superbike, my gear is now more protective - longer gloves, more leather, more armor, sturdier boots......

HELMETS:

  • Bell RS-1 - main
  • Shoei X-Eleven - back up
  • Shoei RF-1000 - retired (1 size too large)
  • HJC CS16 or something - retired (1 size too large)
JACKETS

  • Joe Rocket UFO 2.0 - summer mesh
  • Joe Rocket Blaster leather perf - summer leather
  • First Gear Scout leather - cool/cold weather
  • First Gear Textile - very cold/semi-retired
  • Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 - retired (2 sizes too large)
GLOVES

  • Cortech Adrenaline perf leather - primary
  • Cortech Scarab leather - cold/cool weather
  • about 5 other pairs that have less protection and are pretty much retired
BOOTS

  • Sidi B2 Goretex - primary boot
  • Sidi Sport Rain - retired, less protection
PANTS

  • First Gear Sport Tour leather - cool/cold weather
  • First Gear Mesh Tex - primary warm weather

First post! 22 year old girl from San Diego, what's up, guys?
Not big on introductions, so I'm posting my gear instead.

SPIDI RR Lady Leather Jacket - 40
ALPINESTARS Stella Bat Leather Pants - 40
ALPINESTARS SMX Plus Boots - 37
Dainese Joust Leather Gloves - S
ALPINESTARS SMX Bionic Vest - S (Although usually I only use the back protector, as the chest protector isn't formed for the female body and it sticks out ridiculously under my jacket, and rides up in tuck.)

Kicking this thread back to current: Post what you wear and how you like the gear you have.

Jackets:
Klim Latitdude Misano (2013) ~100k of use now. Current Latitude Jacket
Generally I've been happy with this jacket. I got it just prior to the '13 IBR and up until recently it's been completely waterproof and kept me comfortable. Good armor, came with back pad, vents well in the heat, more than enough pockets. What I don't like is the very small sleeve pocket, (I like to keep a couple credit cards here for gas pumps), and the zippers are getting a little sticky now. In the hot, humid South, this was just too much jacket. I still wear it in colder/wetter times. Heated jacket liner underneath when needed. This was a great jacket for traveling in the West where you might see HOT or Cold or Wet any day of the year. I've ridden in this jacket with LDComfort base layer all over the US and in 120F with the vents wide open to 18F using a Gerbing heated jacket liner underneath. Lots of 1k+ days and endurance rallies in this jacket.

Olympia Moto Sport Mesh Jacket. (2018) ~8k of use now. Got this on closeout last summer to deal with the hot, humid riding in the South. Huge improvement! Comes with full CE rated DO3 armor, a quilted inner liner and a waterproof liner that can be worn over or under, which makes for easy on if you're out riding and it starts to rain. This jacket means staying comfortable and dry on hot, humid riding days, traveling or just day rides. No more peeling off your jacket and being soaked in sweat underneath. Sure, stopped, you still get hot, but the second you start moving, you dry out and cool down. Not quite the abrasion protection that the Klim has, but worth the trade off for summer riding in the South.

Gerbing heated jacket liner. (2003) Maybe 50k of actual use now. Not using this much any more, but for endurance riding at night and general riding/touring in the colder months this is great. I always plug in if I have it on and can adjust the heat as needed with the Warm-n-Safe Heat-Troller. Insulated by itself and windproof, so makes a good liner too, as well as a wear around jacket at the end of the day when traveling. Looks normal with the cords tucked inside. The Heat-Troller is infinitely adjustable, no high/med/low crap. It pulses on the ground leg side and uses a lot less power to keep you comfortable than other controllers. They offer portable and mounted versions. I've used and have both. Great for grip warmers too.

Pants:
Joe Rocket Phoenix Ion mesh pants. (2018) ~8k so far. I got these on blowout sale last summer. Full length leg zippers, which I prefer, but on the inside of the leg, which is kind of strange. No rain liner, so had to buy some rain pants for touring rides. Comfortable, decent armor, does keep me so much more comfortable then regular vented pants in the hot, humid South.

Fieldsheer non-vented. I don't recall what version these are. I got these on blowout sale when I needed pants in a smaller size due to weight loss. These are a budget minded brand and have good CE knee armor with foam hip pads. They are ok and have full length leg zippers, which I prefer. I like to be able to take my pants off with my boots still on. Makes for a fast transition to comfort when moto-camping and you still need to do stuff to set up camp, but don't want to dig out, or don't have other footwear. These came with a zip in thermal liner that really helps in cold weather. I use the liner with the Joe Rocket pants above, using suspenders, when I may be touring in varying conditions over several states.

Base Layer:
LDComfort (various versions from 2003 to present) I've worn various LDComfort products for the last ~300k miles and am a believer of the products. I currently prefer the zipper mock turtleneck long sleeve top and shorts. Keeps moisture off your skin. No rashes, no need for powders. In dry, hot weather you can wet it down and zip up your jacket and it acts as an evaporative cooling device. No seams in bad places, no diaper like pads to bulk up. In really hot, really humid conditions, I tend to wear LDComfort shorts with a micromesh performance T-shirt. More comfortable in the higher humidity of the South, for me. No point in wetting down under mesh, it would just dry out too fast.

Boots:
Gaerne G Midland Gore Tex tall ADV boots. 2011 to present, on my second pair after 150k in the first pair. For ADV touring, these are great. Waterproof and comfortable all day and walking/hiking with a good lug sole for traction on or off road. Very good protection too, ankle, shin, toe, heel protection. I sold the ADV bike, so the barely broken in pair is probably going up for sale soon.

Alpinestars Ridge Waterproof boots. (2019) Just got these for shorter street rides and light touring. I wanted something light weight and shorter, but still waterproof. I have not ridden with them yet, but they look like they will be well suited for my current needs. I used to wear a pair of Oxtar XFive boots for general touring that were comfortable and waterproof. Wore the first pair out at about 145k miles. Sold the second pair used when I started doing ADV riding/touring.

Gloves:
Klim Dakar lightweight summer gloves. (2017) Great for hot temps, a little light on armor though. They do seem to hold up well though. I'm on my second pair and the first pair lasted a couple years of ADV touring, probably 30k miles. Price is right for this type of glove that you know is only good for a couple of seasons before wearing out.

Klim Quest waterproof gloves. (2013) Really waterproof, stupid expensive when I bought them, but available on close out sale now. Comfortable short gauntlet glove and has held up well. Not so bulky, works well with heated grips and keeps my hands warm and dry.

Aerostich Elkskin Guantlet gloves. Leather, very well made, padded knuckle armor, finger wiper for rain on the visor. These were my go to gloves in the West for riding in dry temps from 35F to 85F. I could wear these all day in hotter temps too, but the Klim Dakars are more comfortable in hot weather since they have some air flow thru them and are lighter weight. Not cheap, but not terribly expensive either.

Helmet:
LS2 Vortex Carbon modular. Not as spendy as Schuberth, Klim, Shoei or Arai, but not cheap either. Lightweight and comfortable for my oval head. Classed as a mid oval, but I did need to compress a little bit of the foam at the front edge for my head shape for it to be comfortable w/o a hot spot. I've worn a couple of LS2 FF386 modular helmets before this one. A Shoei Multitec before that and an Arai full face prior to that. That covers a bit over 300k miles of riding over the last 18 years.

So share what you are currently using and likes/dislikes about your gear. Ask questions about mine if you have them.
