Blame the riders not the bikes. show me stats that say a crash on a smaller bike at the same speed as one on a b***** bike is less likely to kill you?

nobody has any hard stats, the euros did a recent study, but it's not very representative of the US, cuz of there overwheleming use of small bikes vs our very little use of them.

but simply ask your ins. agent........he'll tell you, monitarily.......

so you have state farm, they haven't figured it out yet. had them before. every other ins. co. uses bike designation SS vs cruiser.......and trust me SS bikes are alot higher per cc.......

holy shit.......my lia alone is <$200 and i'm 37 and an inst. ,well consider yourself lucky, cuz thats the lowest i've ever heard for a liter bike.

but thats not the norm. call progressive or dairyland (hell DL won't even insure my VFR, let alone your R1) normally sportbike ins. is ALOT higher then standards or other "normal" bikes, why do you think that is?

because state farm goes by cc and not classification.

had state farm also, went to geico, offer msf inst. discounts........
