Okay, here's the deal. I want to sell my FZ6 to buy a sport bike. I liked the FZ6 for a while and it is a great bike but its just not for me. I'm looking to spend about $6000. I recently went to Deals Gap for a five day vacation (first time there) and it was a blast. But after a while I realized there were a lot of bikes I liked more than the FZ6, hence my current situation.

Of the bikes mentioned above, what are your personal experiences with them and what advantages/disadvantages do you know of? If I am going to spend $6000 I'd like the bike to already have exhaust/FE kit/sliders so that factors into what bike I can get for what price.

Right now my preferences in order are based pretty much on looks alone.
R6
F4I
GSX-R600
ZX6-R

Disclaimer: First of all, I am in no way shape or form a great judge of bikes. So take my opinions with a grain of salt.

Any of the bikes you mentioned are great bikes. I own 2 from your list (R6 and F4i) and rode an 02 ZX-6R (albeit for only 1/2 hour). Very little differences that a fairly new rider like myself can tell. But the F4i was perfect for me. Didn't feel like it was too much bike. The ZX-6r felt very comfortable and it was like riding on rails. The R6 is very nimble, very flickable. It all comes down to personal preference.

As far as differences between the 2002 and 2003 R6, the most noticable is that it went from carburated to FI. Other than that, there's the now black frame, black fork legs, sharper front end, slight fairing changes, slight chassis tweak and headlights recieved upgrade.

Okay, here's the deal. I want to sell my FZ6 to buy a sport bike.
The FZ6 IS a sportbike. And from what I've heard, a good one at that. Or else they wouldn't have a subforum here on SBN :D

The first one is probably asking too much. Especially for 12k on the odo. For that price you can get an 03/04 600rr.
The second one is a better deal. You could probably get him to go down a bit. I actually like yellow...:D

Thats a good price on that R6.I would also consider the CBR 600rr though. You will not see much difference in these bike performance wise on the street. The only way you will see it is on a track being timed and the differece on a 2+ mile track will be measured in seconds. If you plan on alotta touring or two up I definately say F4i. Just my opinion. By the way in the last 12 months I have owned an 03 ZX6e and F4i and now the 600RR.
