I'm thinking the GSXR600 but I would say neither, go get a 600RR :D!!! and remember, RIDE RED!!!!

I actually had a gix6 and was considering r6 as a next bike. Even though i didn't ride the gixxer hard, I didn't feel any diff than 250cc when driven low speeds. It packs way more torque but the throttle wasn't that much twitchy, I was doing all kinds of low speed manuevers.

ive ridden both and i think the gixxer is more forgiving i guess u could say, the r6 seems to have more torque and is more snappy

the gsxr seems to have a more friendly power band, overall i like the 6 better, it feels smaller, and reacts quickly to input

You can get hurt just as bad riding a 100cc scooter. Get which ever bike feels the most comfortable to you. Either that, or get whichever one is cheaper, and spend the saved money on some track days. Nothing teaches better than experience.

If you think it didn't feel any different than a 250 at any speed, then you're obviously not ready for a track weapon 600 supersport. Sorry, I'm not flaming you, but it's a harsh reality. You should be noticing that the bikes very different if you've built up your skills. When I went from my ex500 to a YZF-600R I couldn't believe how night and day the bikes were.

Please don't listen to posts like this. The gixxer is in NO WAY the safer choice here. The GSXR just got made-over this year and is a scalpel. Something the R6 has been called for years now. So, do you want a scalpel or a scalpel? Just get whichever color you like.
