I just have some quick questions about the MSF courses.
- Where's the closest riders course in SoCAL (San Diego Area)?
- What are the requirements for the courses (Age, Gear, Training)?
- Is it good to take the courses so young? I'm 15 right now.

Thanks,
Chris

you can take it at 15 w/ your parents signing off on it. in TX

gear, long pants, log shirt, gloves, eye protection, over the ankle sturdy shoes

IMO,15 y.o. to young to be on a bike, not because they can't handle the bike, it's because you don't have enough road experience, let alone on a bike. they aren't very forgiving.

i recommend at least driving 1 yr on the roads before getting a bike. and thats a minimum.

and a 600RR is a terrible choice for a first bike, and your insurance co will let you know by how much they ask....$$$

Yeah, I was just thinking of taking the course for now since school is out and all. But yeah about the 600, don't worry. I just put that there because I didn't know what else to put. Starting maybe on the Ninja 250 or 500. Hah.

I think the closest MSF course in San Diego is the Palmoar College.
