Just a place to share our opinions on good, bad, or whatever movies we've seen. I've been in a nostalgic mood so here are the last 2 movies I've seen.
The Conversation - Ford Coppola joint from early 70s I think. Starring Gene Hackman whose character is a snoop/detective for hire that's got lots of hi-tech gadgets. His character is really paranoid. Anyway, it's a pretty good film, but a little slow.
Killer's Kiss - One of Kubrick's first films about a boxer gettin tangled up in a murder because what he sees goin on next door. The story is pretty simple, but shows the future promise of Kubrick as a visual artist. The boxing fight, for the time, is superbly shot, as is the ballet part.
