Hello there, I have to admit I have only ridden cruisers and dirt bikes. I bought my daughter a 1996 Kawasaki Ninja 250 so she can learn how to ride. I had to put some work into it to make sure it was good to go like adding the air box (because the previous owner removed it to make it go faster...).

So here's my questions:
-When I am going 70mph I am tach'ing at 9000 rpm. Is this normal or did the previous owner change the sprockets?
-When I remove the fuel tank and tip it to the left, fuel comes pouring out of the grommet hole? where the fairing attaches (on the left side). Normal?

I have more questions but I will start with these.
