ive ridden my gf on the fz6 twice now and more recently she complained that the 'fins' were hitting her legs somewhere by her ankles. By fins i mean the plastic near the seat that is above the passenger pegs. Has anyone had this complaint or done anything to handle this?

im thinking maybe some longer passenger pegs would give her room to take her legs away from the bike more....or is she just sitting wrong?

No complaints from my fiance at all. Not sure if this would matter, but she's about 5'4" and tends to sit in a more forward position, almost leaning completely against me.

The fins does not move in regards to the pegs. I don't see how it would hit the ankles unless she presses her ankles to it. Have her keep her knees pressed tightly on your hips while riding (as the way it should be). Unless you have really extra-wide hips, this will give her a proper riding position. Also, a proper footwear for her that covers the ankles is appropriate.
