Today I was bored and decided to do some parking lot practice. I went up to my old high school and surveyed the lot and realized it was pretty good, as far as the way it was divided, and there are some really nice turn arounds with a straight away. i went there 4 years and never payed attention. Needless to say i had a blast practicing some slow speed stuff and working on braking and body position. It was completely empty without a car in sight. def had more fun playing in there than riding the same old twisties. The cops even came by, and instead of bitchin they just smiled and waved :banana.

Dude, according to your profile you're 23 so this all happened a long time ago now. I know you have friends there but the truth is that only losers go back to their old high school over and over again.

As time goes by the people that made it special to you go away and it pretty much becomes just another collection of buildings filled with strangers. You just ran into a stranger a lot sooner than a lot of people might, but it should hammer home the same message anyhow. It isn't your place anymore, you don't belong there.

Being able to move on to different stages in life is an important skill and the quicker you learn this skill, the better quality of life will you will have. Getting over someone after a break up, getting on with life after a parent's death, these are all tough things to do, (I know, I've done them) but you can't hang on to everything in life so you have to develop a system to deal with the changes. I'm sorry this dickhead felt like he needed to treat you so poorly, but hopefully you learn from it. Don't hold a grudge, accept it and move on.

Only losers call people losers.
From the plot of the Novella Thread Jacking, I would say homeboi was crackin' it to a geriatric faculty member - enjoying the quality of his life quite finely - be it one side to an unnecessary rambling - who gives a damn?

I used to crash all the time at my own famous parking lot - Salem's Lot, actually (Connecticut, not Massachucetts) had a big open parking area with windy one-lane roads connecting b***** lots with different cambers, berms, esses - like a race track to a stunt locale to a race track back to stunt lot -you realy can learn to get into rhythm with good focus practicing area.

isnt using their lot trespassing though?

I did use my old HS lot once when I drove an MR2 Turbo (Yamaha designed 3sgte engine), I gunned it (empty at night) and I hit the fuel cut. Must have been going at least 50, its a big lot.

I;d love to mess around when i get a bike, hopefully this summer.

Oh yeah, sorry for jacking your thread. Parking lots are great. I especially like to leave my car there when I go shopping and stuff. Can't beat 'em.

Hell, sometimes I even pay to use them when I go into the city. Great value. Way better than getting my car towed and stuff, that would be bad.

I think I prefer the ones with the lines painted so you can pull straight through. I think the herring bone ones are good too, but I like to be able to pull through and stuff. I mean, I can back out, I could back in too but if you back in on a herring bone design then you are facing the wrong way - that's bad.

I'm really glad to have this chance to say all this. I think parking lots are really underappreciated. I hope all this parking lot appreciation helps straighten out your thread, because I feel really bad that I posted something other than a post about parking lots.

I too like my parking lots long lots, short lots, tall lots, muti-deck lots the one think many people don't know is that parking lots aren't just for parking any more (i would like to keep it hush-hush though) you can drive threw them and even pratice your riding skills in them but only if the clean
I heart Parkinglots:bowdown

You can hate people, but you shouldn't hate the parking lots. It's like the forest, I love the forest I just hate all the animals that crap all over the place.

But this is a thread about our love for parking lots, not our hatred of people - less we forget that and digress.
