To start, I have a 2004 Kawasaki Ninja 500. I've noticed in the last couple of weeks or so, every now and then I notice a couple of drips on the ground beneath my bike. I don't know where it is coming from and I can't tell if it is oil or not. It almost has a yellow tint to it. You can see the color on the last pic. The oil is dripping down the frame and I've noticed it on the hose that appears to be containing the wires for the kickstand switch. Any idea where it could be coming from? The bike only has roughly 7000 miles.

Small oil leaks are a bitch to find. Best way I've found is to give your bike a really, really good cleaning, dry it, run it IN PLACE, and then start hunting for leaks. You should be able to follow the oil from the spot it lands up to where it's dripping from.

Good luck, man.

It looks like I found out where it is dripping from. If I try and tighten the bolts around the case, especially near the leak, would that help to stop the leak? What is behind that round part on the case?
