comes with mount kit.
Bought from someone on ebay who used it on a 99 zx6r stil in great condition, dont' need it as I dont' like the feel of it.
i used it one ride on my 2000 zx6r an dtook it off.
So ithink not sure it will fit a 98-02 zx6r but most definitely a 00-02 zx6r
and proably all other bikes too sine the body is the same just need a different mount bracket..
