If you have ever taken a class about CPR or emergency medical response, one of the first things they tell you is do not move the victim if it is not neccessary. Sounds like both were conscious and breathing, so moving them would have been a bad idea. Especially with a broken vertabrae. You could cause permanant paralysis if a bone would slip wrong.
Oooooh, and the one time you do you're wrong! How bad that must suck. You were doing so well, your record was untarnished. Now...now...you're but a shell of the man you were before this post!
Nice brush guard. Ya know, those things make vehicles roughly 3 times as likely to kill you in a collision as a biker, cyclist or pedestrian. That's why the EU has apparently banned them. I mean, it's not like they are used for anything other than cosmetics anyways.
