I just bought my X11, its DEFINATELY not worth the $700 to see how much better the 12s are.
I do like that graphic though.
Oh yeah, for RF fans....I present the Warlord. This one is pretty sweet to.

Its the RF1000s from last year they are blowing out, the current lines are still carried it looks like.

I'm in a new helmet mood. I was just looking at the new Shoei's yesterday, as well as the Arai's. I like the Locatelli X-11 and the new Italian themed X-12, as well as the Italian Arai Profile and Suomey Italia. Decisions, decisions..... Plus can I get away with a red, white, green, and black helmet with blue & white leathers?

I can't find a German flag helmet, and my bike is Italian! Those are the 4 I'm looking at.For an German guy you sure like Italian flags.
My dad is German, but my mom's side is Sicilian. :twofinger

Gotta have the go juice in the morn! I'm suffering myself after a Sunday night full of beer and football with work in 40 mins.
Royal Tiger, I don't think you could go wrong with any of those helmets they all look great. I've got a Suomy Spec-1R and like it alot. I like the new Shoei's but the Suomy and Arai's do more for me look wise.

I love the X-12 (the white one with the hand written Shoei text) and believe in lighter helmets for visibility, but the Suomy is growing on me. It's also the most subtle, which is good since my gear is blue & white.

The new X12 is pretty sweet, but to me I wouldn't pay a premium for it over the X11 which was already decidedly awesome.
A friend of mine has the italian-colored X11, and its really sweet. If you can find a closeout type deal on one of those, thats what I'd jump on.
I like Arai too, but Shoei is my brand. Fitment is personal preference i know, but I'm not a huge fan of the visor systems on the Arai. If you're already invested in visors for one brand or another, that weighs into the decision too.
If i was buying a helmet today, it'd be the italian x11. If i could get it for a deal? Even sweeter!

I like the Locatelli X-11 and it's the cheapest of the 4 I posted. Might clash with my Rossi jacket though..... The other 3 aren't any particular rider.

Hehe, I look like a 3-year-old picked out my gear. I've got a black RF-1000, grey Alpinestars stunt jacket, red alpinestars leather pants, white alpinestars leather gloves, all black alpinestars boots, and friggin yellow bikes. :boinkPlus can I get away with a red, white, green, and black helmet with blue & white leathers?
Needless to say I stopped caring if my gear matches. I shot myself in the foot by buying gear to match the color of whatever bike i had, and now the stuff is all mis-matched. I'm sticking to black/white/grey from now on.
A red/white/green italian flag helmet isn't going to match anyway. But that doesn't change the fact that its friggin sweet!

I don't go for the all match head to toe, but I thought it would look off. The bike is silver with blue trim and gold wheels, so there is a lot of room for matching possibilities.

Beware the rider who wears mismatched riding gear as they may just know how to ride......
