I heard around the Nurburgring track in Germany it beat a stock '04 R1 by 25 seconds!!! On the straights it left the R1 in the dust...the problem with the R1 is that the wheelbase is short with tons of hp at the rear wheel...the front end kept pointing towards the sky! Going to convert my Gixxer to pure track machine and this will be my street machine...

maybe i dont get the redicule from them like you jappers do since i ride Italian but i ride with about 5 beamers, including my dad, and they are all a great bunch of guys.
Secondly, you are assuming that all the japanese are just gonna sit there and do nothing. Don't forget that honda has a new blackbird in the works and the busa and zx-12 are both due for an update.
