Isn't she a beauty?!

I heard around the Nurburgring track in Germany it beat a stock '04 R1 by 25 seconds!!! On the straights it left the R1 in the dust...the problem with the R1 is that the wheelbase is short with tons of hp at the rear wheel...the front end kept pointing towards the sky! Going to convert my Gixxer to pure track machine and this will be my street machine...

Oh yeah, how do you post a pic within the thread?

You're a piece of crap, that's a bad-ass motorcycle.

BMW finally has an ass-kicker on their hands.

I guess you're not a BMW fan. :twofinger No joke...I want a machine that is shaft drive (no chain maintenance), fast, comfortable and that can put on hard bags and where the engine will last 200,000 plus miles....I saw a RT that I thought was brand new and it had over 160,000km. Nothing against Japanese bikes because I love them too, but I just don't think they are as durable...

I don't think that's a fair statement either. I'll put my XX up against any other street motorcycle ever built if you want to do a test of durability and longevity.

I can believe the 25 second gap...remember that track is 21km long, on a regular 5km track, I'm sure the R1 would win, but this one is suited for this machine. It had a lap time of just under 8 minutes I believe at that circuit...

:blowme and f**K YOU.

BMWs suck.. their riders are a bunch of stuck up snobs. Worst than the Harley type.
biggest generalization I've heard all day. Just because it's not a cookie cutter bike, doesn't mean it sucks. But whatever, ignorance is bliss. Also, I don't think that BMW is an "ass-kicker", it's a good bike, but put the R1 at shorter track and the BMW won't have a 25 sec lead. Great sport tourer/crazy fast bike like the CBRXX/BUSA/12R/etc. though

You're doing a real good job of emulating the type of stuck up attitude that you say you dislike.

Put it up against a bike in it's own category and see how it does... How about putting it against, say, a Busa ? Not dissin' the Bimmers, just pointing out flaws in this "comparo".
