I haven't been riding in that area, but i have been just a bit south of there. I don't think you'l be disappointed. Although it won't be as good as the SC/NC/TN/GA area.
Hey im about 30min away from washington, my grandparents live there. There are a ton of great roads just over the river on 47 near washington. hwy 94 is a great road with some senic and some twistes. or you can always just ride around some of the back roads and see what you can find. drop me a line sometime and will go for a ride.
I am settled into temp living at the moment in Washington. I close on my old house December 1 so I am in house hunting mode. Unfortunately I will not get much riding in before it gets too cold but at least the bikes will be here.
