Well... I originally posted this in the SC region forum, however it doesn't appear as though there are too many people checking those out, so I figured I'd post this here...

I'm going to be moving to North Myrtle in December and I have a question about my license. I was told I need my social security card to get a SC license, is that true? What else do I need? Also, will my motorcycle endorsement transfer or will I need to retake the exam?

Thanks.

These are questions you should ask the SC dmv, either through their website or a phone call.

You need your social security card and copy of birth certificate for an initial SC ID. You may not need it to simply transfer IDs, but I would bring it just in case. What in the wide wide world of sports is making you want to move anywhere near Myrtle?

I didn't need either when I transfered mine but that doesn't mean things haven't changed, did mine over 10 years ago. I'd just make the phone call to be on the safe side.

If it's at the Hard Rock Cafe or one of the million different time shares there I'm going to hunt you down, eat your soul, and spit out the crunchy bits.

And I got my ID there in 2006, but it wasn't a transferred ID. But like I said, what's it going to hurt if you have it in your pocket when you go down to get it down anyhow? If you don't need it great, if you do it's already there. Oh, and it has to be an official copy of your birth certificate, they need the raised bumpy part of they et all pissy.

How can they be filing for bankruptcy already, that Indian tribe just bought Hard Rock Cafe. They sure know to manage casinos....maybe not restaurants?

This is the hard Rock park, not the resturaunt chain. the park's owner's liscened the name from the owners of the resturaunt. they've filed for bankruptcy, but plan to try to open next year and give it another shot. right now, it's way to expensive, for not enough rides.
