I don't want to steal L8's thunder and can't do nearly as good a job as he does on these threads...

There is really only one question for this race:

Will Marquez take the title here?

Lorenzo is at times seeming to want to fight and at others resigned to fate. Pedrosa has a point to prove to himself and the world. Rossi just can't break through the 4th place doldrums.

Thanks Max :dblthumb

I'm actually in Daytona at the track putting in a few laps myself :D Having a blast riding this awesome friggin' track but forgetting to throw up the GP thread. You're a great member and contributor to SBN, so thanks :)

And 1978 was the last time a rookie won the MotoGP crown, and Marquez could possibly pull it off this weekend. So it'll be interesting to see how hard Jorge pushes himself.

I don't think MM will take it this weekend. Make no mistake, Jlo hasn't given up. His words of praise for MM are his attempts at mind games.

Lorenzo is gonna take the race. Marquez on podium though. Can't remember if that still makes Marquez a champion.

Dry session but windy.

Stefan Bradl was declared "unfit" to race and will sit out the rest of the weekend.

Marquez had a big chasis bending crash and a chassis bolt from Pedrosa's Honda backed out and he had to stop.

Ah, I see.

Also, should be noted that again, Marquez picked a good time to crash. He was unhurt, and in practice.

Marc needs to bring the championship home. Everytime he crashes I cringe. God forbid he get hurt. Keep your head in the game champ!

I'd actually still prefer he didn't.

Hey I heard 2 riders were killed there yesterday in a class? Hope it's not the same group you're with.
