Hey everyone I'm really close to getting an 07 SV1000S and I need to be able to carry as much on this bike as possible. Basically motorcycles = my only transportation, so with that being said, do you guys have any recommendations on a decent set of saddle bags for an SV? I plan on getting a tank bag for school books and things like that but I need something for groceries and tools for work. I had a luggage rack on my last bike where I would haul a toolbox with 60lbs of tools in it. Your opinions would be appreciated.

H man, I don't own a SV how ever I have seen a lot of pics of does with bags, hard and soft.

Hard? GIVI they have brackets for this model specific, so you could add side cases and a top case, giving you a lot of options, go to twisted throtlte and see what you like, in size and price.

Maybe you could just buy the racks and use it with soft bags so your bike could be lighter. I know there are many options so this is just one!

cheers

Hey man thanks for the link to twistedthrottle.com, I had never seen that site before and I really like the coocase. I would be confident that it would hold everything I need it to. The guy that is selling me this SV1000 dropped off 500 dollars on the price so I could get the mounts and the 48 liter coocase and be pretty set on storage. Your reply was very helpful, thanks.
