Whats up guys? Im manny, and I just got a 96 FZR600. Just thought I would introduce myself..... I have many questions, and love the great and friendly atmosphere that u guys have here. I am going to be changing out the front springs to proggresive's.. since im a lil on the thick side. Since they will be working on the front end, I was thinking if I should tell my mech to lower the front end? Would it be a good idea?? Other than it looks better lowered, any other benefits. Or should I just leave it stock??? thanx

You can raise the fork tubes in the triple clamps a little. That will lower the bike. The bike will turn faster. It will also be less stable and more likely to head shake.

You can try it. It's not hard to undo. Just be careful. I don't think you'll like it.

thanx powerplant. Thats what I was looking for. I guess I wont be trying it afterall. I want it stable, plus it turns over pretty good as is.
