Hello All,

I am New to the Forum, and Riding a new r1! I just switched over from a 9 year old Ninja 750, and I gotta say that the r1's stock seat really is uncomfortable compared to the Ninja. Its much harder, and the slope seems to want to slide you forward easy if your not tucked pretty low.
Has anyone bought an aftermarket seat they really like yet? How's the comfort, and does it reduce any heat coming from those undertail pipes?

Mine is an 04 in Red. Corbin only makes them up to the 2003 model year, and Sargents didnt seem to have any listed. Anyone even seen a Gel seat for this bike?

Thanks for the info on the Corbin. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE will come out with a nice seat for this bike SOMEDAY!
