Right now I have a Yama Fz6. I love everything about the bike; it's comfortable, good performance, sounds nice. The only problem is that here in a couple of months I am going to get hit with a jump in my interest rates from 5.9% to 18.9%. I am wanting to get rid of the bike for this reason, and since I will be getting a new bike I was wanting one with more performance, so I was seriously considering the 636. I am going to test ride one either Monday to Tuesday. I put over 12,000 miles on the bike in one year, so I like to ride. Most of my miles are highway miles. I am also 6'4, 240lbs so I am a big guy. I have heard that the 636 is not a comfortable bike for big guys. I want your opinions on the 636 for someone in my situation. Thanks! -Nick

comfort like beauty is in the eye of the beholder....
i love my 04 636 but i'm only 5'10" 195 used to be 220 but i've trimed down...
i would reccommend a double bubble windscreen though if you deceide to get a 636....
had a friend that was 6'6" and about 170 and said it was a lil cramped but not to bad...
you'll know after you ride one :cheers

If you like the FZ6 so much, can you find a way to pay it off or redo the financing? Or is it a convenient reason to shop for a new bike :)
Hehe, you caught me :) If I really want to keep the FZ, I could probably get a bank loan to cover it, but I think that before I do that, I would want to get a faster bike. I like the 636, and I can get the limited edition one for 8300 out the door.
