okay this may be a dumb question, but...
I got my frame sliders today, one is longer than the other, the instruction sheet says that the right side is the longer one, well, is the right side the right side with me on the bike or off?
To me it would seem that it would be with me on the bike, but at the same time the left side looks to me that it would warrent the longer slider....

It sounds to me like they sent you the R6 frame sliders. I got the Intuitive sliders for my FZ6 and they are both the same length. On the '03-'04 R6 one side is longer than the other one.

Ya know its a good thing that us fz6'rs can put our heads togther and figure these things out. It seems that we together know more than the dealers or part suppliers do.

The longer one goes on the right as you're on it. The left is there only to protect the crank case....that and the handle bars touch on a left-drop. The right side, however, hits on the tank first, and thats what the sliders are there to protect.

Just trust me. I learned this the hard and scratchy way.
