I recently purchased a 1988 Yamaha FZ600, and there is virtually no info for this bike online. If anyone has any websites or anything other info about this bike, I would really appreciate it. I am looking for any and all info on this bike, including specs, where to get parts, etc.

I would like maintanence stuff, like what oil viscosity to run, what fuel, and other lubricants that should be used. Basically, I would really like to find an original user manual for this bike.

just keep looking, and ebay of course will randomly have sellers with them. i picked up an original one for a 72 bike i worked on for a bit. good luck and have fun

edit: after looking at the website more closely, I realized that all that info is for FZR's. I only have an FZ. Are they really that different?

I know in my 1000 and 400cc FZR regular ran best in em. No need for premium.

Interesting. The guy that I bought the bike from said he used premium for the year he owned it, so I figured I would just do the same. Are you sure that it shouldn't be a problem using regular in my '88 FZ600 with 38k miles on it? It does take a good amount of time to get the bike started when it is really cold.
