Hi,

I just bought a used 2001 yamaha R6, it is my first bike, and I dont' have a mount/bracket to put the license plate tag on. Is there a way to put it on without buying one? or if i need to have some kind of bracket/mount, can i fabricate one myself? they are really expensive and i've just spent a lot of money getting the bike itself and some gear(helmet/jacket)

I can't say without seeing a picture of your bike's tail end. Why not ask the previous owner where he put his plate? If you bought it from a dealership, ask them where you should mount the plate.

I fabricated my own fender eliminator and license plate mount. It's cheap and not too difficult if you have tools and are mechanically inclined. I spent less than $20 at Home Depot.
