Since I've only lived in New England for a couple of years, I don't know the back roads like someone who has lived here forever. So, I'm thinking of picking up a GPS unit to keep me on the right path.

What are you folks using? I'd appreciate any feedback you might have to offer.

I am looking for one as well and I am leaning towards the Megellan Meridian. It uses SD memory cards so you can download a lot of map data on it.

I have this tendancy to get lost while riding around too. I don't have nice winding rodes like you got over there on the east.. but I'm really close to the WI border and I like to jet up there and just ride around. I personally like that I get lost though. Eventually I find my way home, it's kind of an adventure. If I kill an afternoon getting lost and riding my FZ, I'd say that's a good weekend...

I use the Sportrack Pro. Can download detail maps and turn by turn directions. Not color, but it's good enough for the bike.

I just got hooked up with GPS on mine but already talked about it on this thread so I won't go into details here.
