I heard that if you lower the clips on the needles (raising the needles and richening it up), the factory lean-out problems will go away, or at least be helped. I have a stock 96 ZX-11, with the exception of K&N filters.
I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction...

Thanks,
Larry

Oooh Luminous Windsor Green bike..

Yeah they have a fairly lean spot right around 3k or so to get by emissions. You could try raising the needles just a hair, or maybe tweaking on the air fuel mixture screws just abit. In any case, only adjust 1 and only 1 thing at a time and keep notes on what you do...

Thanks,

Got a sweet deal on the bike. Bought brand new in 01. It was 5 years old still on the showroom floor with 1.4 miles on from being pushed around the floor for 5 years. Bought it as a new bike with a full factory warranty...I also have a HD Fatboy, but the ZX is too fun to ride to get rid of...
