can you all recommend any good jackets, possibly with a full circumference zipper and matching pants? for hot weather.

so far i kinda like this jacket Fieldsheer mach 4 but it only has a 8 zipper for pants attachment. what do you think of it?

Depends on the price... Good textiles, including mesh, can hold up fine from an abrasion standpoint. Never use anything less than 500 denier Cordura Nylon. Try and find garmets with 1000 denier. Never use polyester as it melts at 350 F, which could be seen in a medium to long slide on pavement.

The two I would recommend:
1. Vanson Ventilator:

It is constructed of 1000 denier Cordura (mesh and overlays) and has leather underneath in the impact areas. Vanson came out with the vent pant this year to go with it.

2. Motoport Air Mesh Kevlar Jacket:

This is made of Scholer's Keprotech which is slightly stronger (abrasion and tear) than race quality (1.4-1.6mm) leather. They have a matching pant as well. All Motoports stuff are made to order (custom sizing) and take several weeks to deliver.

I personally use The Vanson Ventilator. I think it will do fine from an abrasion standpoint. However, the armor leaves a lot to be desired, and it is a loose fitting jacket, so I don't expect it will hold me together, only keep my skin on.

Neither are very pretty, or cheap, but both are the best mesh alternatives I've found to date.

I ordered Motoport's GP2 jacket and police pants. Yep, several weeks. I was told 10-12. Looking forward to it, though.
