If the person running the site knows what there doing a proxy wont help. Just try it with Rapidshare or Megaupload. A proxy wont get you another download without waiting the hour time limit, proof that it wont do a thing provided the site operator knows how to stop it.

The forum doesn't give a shit what IP you're using. I'm currently using 6. At the same time (well, a random one out of the 6 for each request). I don't have a choice, my uni's retarded admins set it up that way.

They can make it a lot harder for the banee to set up another account than it is for them to ban it. So they'll tire of the mess and go away.

Yes, it's worth it. Wait until winter time when the dumb-asses come out of hiding. Of course, some of them never actually hibernate. They stay dumb-asses all the time and make sure everyone knows it.

I've seen sites that ban free emails, and you also have to be 'checked' before your post's show. Once you have about 10 decent posts, or a time frame, then your in the clear.

I believe if you rally want to stop them, to have a "invisible user", where they think they have posted, but only the mod's can see it and they will get bored if no one replies.
