so i rarely 'show off' on the bike, i usually just ignore kids in civics who want to race, teenagers making the 'do a wheelie' gesture and random college girls who pull up along side of me and lift their shirts (ok, i did look at them )

but, i can not resist making some noise for little kids. lol. when in my neighbor hood and a kid waves (there are many) i will at least pull in the clutch and rev the motor a bit, in fact i did that today. last week i had a kid, probably 4, try to race me on his little bike with training wheels. i won, but he put up a good fight, lol. if on a b***** road, and they are in a car along side of me, i will snick it down a gear take off. it seems to make them happy. their parents might not approve, but, fuck 'em.

My bike is pretty unique so I usually get a lot of attention from the kids, it's also pretty loud, so I usually give them a nice loud rumble rev as I go by. They go crazy and grab their parents arms and point at me. It makes me think about my little girl and anything that makes me think about my daughter makes me happy.

Like others have said, got to keep the next generation ready in the gates.
