Need a new stator in my 01 r6. Dealer wants $400.00 for a new OEM stator, thats just rediculously priced. Ricks stators are $140.00 online new and I hear they are great. Just seems kind of sketchy because they are so cheap compared to dealer or is the dealer just really trying to jack me?

i dont know if it would work, but i use ronayers to bargain with my local dealer alot, especially since i want to keep my money in my own state.

Just purchased one of Rick's stators for my Hayabusa to increase the power output for accessories. I haven't put it on yet, but it arrived fast and in good condition visually. For what it's worth, their stators have a decent rep from what I've read in the Hayabusa communities.

The Rick's stator might be just as good or better than OEM. The stock part costs so much because it's OEM. My Zero Gravity windshield cost around $80 less than the clear factory one.
