Just wanted to kinda introduce myself and see if maybe I could hook up with some of you guys for a ride sometime. I'd love to learn some cool roads.

I live in the Paducah area. Just got my first bike on April 1st. 2005 SV650S. I'm scheduled to take the MSF course in May. Right now I'm just havin a blast riding to work every day as well as all over Western KY.

Glad to see you finally got the SV. Where did you end up getting it from? I believe if I ever got a second bike (not likely selling the FZ anytime soon) it would be an SV. As far as riding goes, I hope to be out and about this weekend. Hopefully we will have good weather.

I bought the SV from a dude in Huntsville, AL. It only had 3000 miles on it and was pretty much in mint condition. It had a few extras on it: steering damper, frame sliders, and a tank mount for a video camera. I've put a Hotbodies undertail on it and I'm gettin a rear seat cowl pretty soon. I only gave 4500 for it. I thought that was pretty good. Book price was $5300 I think.
Let me know if there's gonna be any kind of group ride or anything this weekend. That is, if it's an OK thing for a noob like myself to tag along.

Hey, I think I'm gonna ride this weekend with a guy named Matt (Reidland) and some friends of his (one guy named Eddie and some others). I've never met any of them. I contacted them somehow thru one of the sportbike boards. Anyway, if you're interested, let me know.
