Ok Folks, Daytona just gave a evacuation order. Going to close the bridges on Thurs. or Fri.

As most people know...SicFlgrilR6 lives there and I am going to take my trailer up there and help load up some things for her family tomorrow night.

For those that don't know, she lives just south of Daytona on an Island.

Anybody that has some free time to come help will be appreciated.

Let's hope this one goes on North a little more.

Thanks so much you guys!!! My family really appreciates it. My dad is beyond freaking out, his dad passed away when I was 14 and our house has a lot of his stuff that my dad does not want to let got of. However we have a lot of stuff we need to bring with us. 19' boat on a trailer(if we don't get the boat out of the garage when the storm surge comes in the boat will go through the 2nd floor), we have 4 cats and my doggie we need to fit in my dads van and they all have kennels. I have an SV650 and my R6 that need to get out of the garage and over to Polk County. If we get any kind of storm surge our house will be destroyed, there are no dunes left here, hurricane Floyd whiped them out when it came through so we no longer have a barrier between us and the ocean. They have ordered a mandatory evacuation for the Island I live on, we need everything out by Thursday AM and they will be closing down the bridges so no one can get in or out. This is very serious even if the eye does not pass directly over us we will still have an awful storm surge. Any help is very appreciated, my family has been good to a lot of you guys who have stayed here, I'm glad I have friends like Kenny who remember good people and treat them as family which is how my family has treated most of you .

Cortney..... I've Never met you nor your family. You sound like you all are as good as people as Kenny says you are. It also seems as though most people here on SBN are decent people. That is why I love this site. I just got off the phone with Kenny. I told him I will help anyway I can. Even if I can't stay over there for long I will just ride my bike over there behind Kenny. I wish I had a truck that is worthy of making the trip but all I have is my bike and my Elantra. I have some garage space if you need it for your bikes or anything else you may need to put in it. That offer goes out to anyone that needs it until it is filled up.

Its okay Bill and Earl . What I really really need is a Saws-All I dunno if you have one Kenny, but we need one bad. We need to go up on the roof and cut the roof deck from the support beams that run into the house. If the roof deck goes with the beams attached the damage will be extensive, however if we cut the roof deck from the support beams and get it off it will reduce the chances of it taking the roof with it if it blows off and causing water damage.

Soooo we're going to bump the move out from to tonight to tomorrow night we've had our evac extended a little that way we can see where Frances might hit a little more. If anyone could make it out here with Kenny to get some of our stuff out of the beach house that'd be great . We should have most everything ready to go and boarded up by tomorrow night, my mom got a new car for her b-day she used to have a Dodge Dakota, which we could have hauled the bikes in, but now she has a Toyota Scion Xb and that little bread box can't hold crap... I still don;t know what to do with the bikes, Jerry still has not fixed his truck so...

Any of you who would like to help PLEASE contact Kenny he will be heading on his way out here tonight, we were going to wait until tomorrow to see what the storm is doing, but now we have no choice. If we go too late into the night you guys are more than welcome to stay here and we'll be leaving in the morning.**

Thanks you guys!!! Yeah Kenny is going to shove the two bikes in my garage in his trailer. We are leaving my car here to try and atleast block one of the garage doors. Again you guys don't know how much this means to me and my family. You guys really do represent how fellow riders should treat eachother, like family.
