Greetings!

Love Bug Season is now here in the Tampa, FL area :(

I start off for work with a nice clean visor and can barely see by the time I get to work, lol. I have to flick all the dead bugs off my helmet and leathers before I go inside to try and avoid littering dead bugs all over my desk and the carpet. I usually put my leather jacket over the back of my chair at work, but now I'm afraid I'll get bug goo on the back of my work shirt if I do that.

I hate Love Bugs :(

These are the lovebugs we have in Florida.

The above image is from this article: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/MG068

Here are a few pics I took of my poor FZ6 after just a couple hours of riding through Lovebugs:

WARNING: Not for the squeamish ;)

Over here, around dusk, I'm a mosquito exterminator... luckily they don't create quite as much of a mess as those things. I don't care so much about the windshield but I hate it when my visor gets full of guts, there's no way to clean it off without stopping that doesn't make things even worse.

yeah, we went over to our favorite waterside bar last weekend, and the blister bugs were already out in full effect while we were trying to enjoy our drinks. Today we spent all day riding through the everglades and didn't see one single one, I was very surprised. It thought us and the Z6 was going to be covered in them. But we did get bombarded by a ton of dragon flies. But the dragon flies keep the mosquitos away, therefore I don't mind them. Except when I cracked my visor a 1/2 inch for a second just to get some additional air, and one swooped through the crack and right up into my EYE!!
