yep...sure am.. I locked my only key to my bike in the trunk..... WTF!!!

how the fcuk am I gonna get it out.. I cant exactly take off the tail fairing...

I could however take off the ignition and have a new key made from that...since they use the same key.

Have some friends help u lift the back up and shake the piss out of it.
Theres a gap (usually) down at the end of the trunk area. U might be able to get it to kick out.

Have fun :)

Why can't you take the fairings off? It will take some time, but it can be done.

In order to get the fairing off I have to take the pass. handles off... I cant take the handles off unless the pass seat has been removed. one of the 2 bolts holding them on is under the rear seat.

I did something like that once, when I did my fender eliminator. I took off what I could then snaked my hand up the tail. I just forgot to reattach the locking pin to the keyhole, thus couldn't get my seat off with the key.

I just recently misplaced my only key after leaving a track day. I called the dealer and the piss ants told me they couldn’t do anything since I didn’t purchase the bike through them. I called a mobile lock and key service and they came to my house and made me a few new copies.

just cut your stock hugger right under where you think it is.

just a little hole wouldnt hurt, and not like any one would ever see it. And it would give you a reason to buy a new undertail kit.

I went to the dealer and got a blank key ($12.00) Luckily they had one in stock...the only one they had.

They also didnt know anything about using the VIN to make a new one. Didnt have the machine to key it.

I cant exactly exactly take the bike to them...no trailer
