Are you doing it for drag racing or poser value. There are a couple companies that make nice drag forks, but plan on spending some cheese (trac dynamics run about $1050) if you are just doing it for looks you can strap it (also not bad for the weekend warrior)

raise the bike up, take off the front wheel, loosen both the top and bottom triple clamp and slowly work the forks back up so the tops of the tubes go up past the top of the triple clamp. Don't do it too far or you will bottom out yer suspension. Also beware the first time you ride as this will afftect how the bike turns into corners and can sometimes make the bike more prone to tankslap.

nah i prefer a plasma torch, quicker, sometimes smoother cut too.....that and the compressed air coming out blows the oil out of the way...
