I know this sounds like a total noob question but I'm having some difficulty. I just got my bike painted pearl white so I bought white frame sliders to replace the black ones currently on the bike. Problem is that the socket won't fit inside the frame slider to remove the bolt. Also the socket wont fit inside the new frame sliders either. Is there a special socket or am I missing something obvious here?

I'm assuming it's metric on your bike. Take the slider to a store and find one that fits. I had to borrow one from a friend.

yup, the tool exists, just take the slider to sears and find the right socket. this isn't rocket science.

Craftsman has a thin wall deep well socket that fits just fine. Pick up a set, they are worth it, just remember not to treat them like impact sockets cause they wont take it.
