You guys are insane. Tires heat up, expand, and flex considerably. No way in hell am I running a patched tire for any length of time. Purchase another tire.. or take the opportunity to replace both.

The one thing to add to the how to is be mindful of the angle of the screw/nail that you are removing.

Make sure you seat the plug at the same angle..

VeeFer97 is right about applying the patch right. In my garage many people choose to go with a patch on their cars insted of buying a new tire. You have to buff the inside tire smooth, sand paper should work, and after putting on the glue and patch you must use that roller thing he talked about. One a bike i really wouldnt recommend a patch, just because they are dangerous enough, but if you are going to patch, do it the right way.
