My current rate is about 13,000 miles/year.

Average over the past 3.5 years? About 10,000 miles/year.

this week will be my 1 year anniversary of buying my current bike. I have put on almost exactly 11k miles, but for many reasons I haven't ridden much the past month. I was expecting to be around 12k. I average about 900 per month.

I just thought of something... If this was a not a sport bike forum, but a Cruiser or a Chopper, then we'd have the majority of votes in the GQ of the Weekend Rider categories

I've been riding for a little over couple of weeks and I've logged 1800 miles so far (mainly on a couple of weekend rides). Hope to make it 8-10K + before the season is over.

Damn I wish I lived somewhere nice and warm year round.

The last few years my mileage has been way down due to not even having a bike and/or the bike being down for repairs (joy of a vintage bike as your only bike). Generally, though, I ride between 10k to 15k a year. Some years it's been more due to multi-day trips, but there haven't been any of those in some time.

I put 10,000 miles on last year. It was my first year riding and I got the bike in June. This year I have about 9500 so far and that is with taking the month of April off due to legal trouble. I do a mix of commuting to school (about 10 miles each way) and aggresive riding in twisies close to me. Our normal loop is about 100 miles and we do it anywhere from 2-5 times a week. I love riding...it keeps me out of trouble for the most part...

I would do 15k in the summer and whatever I scrounge up during the winter. But since quite riding on the street I only get a little over a hundred every trackday.

In San Antonio, its always riding weather-Its the fucking other people that discourage me...fuckin texting now? As if talking on a cellphone wasnt bad enough.
Serious.

One has to be a retard to talk on a cellphone while driving to begin with. Texting is tantamount to getting behind the wheel while completely obliterated drunk. At least the drunk is watching the road and trying not to get in trouble.

Yep, yep. I hear ya. A lot of people are afraid to even drive their cars in SA :lao

I ride six days out of the week. On Mondays I have to wear "Blues", so I have to drive, not to scuff the shoes and stuff, but otherwise I'm darting

I've never used the bike to commute because of what I do for work but I'm on the bike every chance I get. Mostly twisties with a friend or 2 with the occasional errand run. 8000 miles in the last 6 months, all recreational riding. In fact, when I get my new rubber on this evening I'm planning on taking it out and scrubbing them in. I spend more time riding my bike then I do on the Internet yapping about how much I ride my bike. (and how good I ride it)
