Might have something to do with when you first start getting some. I ran up the vast majority of my tally when I was still in high school banging little sluts that looked like they walked off a Warrant video. At that time, it was about notches on a belt. Going from my girlfriend's house to her friends house, to some other chick's house, all in one evening. At the time, I thought I was uber-stud. Probably didn't get a single one of them off, but hey, that wasn't the point then.
If I hadn't gotten laid then, I might have been less interested in sampling the world's cooter supply and all.
Now, I'm all about making a chick convulse uncontrollably. It's much cooler to make a chick pant like a collie than to say I hit several.
Well yeah, I am quite lucky that being married didn't mean monogamy for me, when all is said and done, I'd give up half the number of chicks I've nailed to know that I made the other half weak kneed as a newborn giraffe

Actually, I have no idea how many as I never kept count past the first one.

I do have some good memories and get a chuckle out of relating some stories of certain adventures. But the truth is that most of the chicks I've been with has been a one or two time thing, not terribly memorable (I was reminded of one I completely forgot about just the other day) and I'm quite sure they'd be hard pressed to remember my flailings.
There are a few though, that still either praise or curse my name to this day.

Even converted a lesbian once. That makes you feel pretty good. I saw that chick not long ago- engaged to a guy. Score one for the home team!

I figure more than I should have. Quantity ruled over quality for a while.

But at least I gained valuable experience that I can put to good use now. As much as it's a romantic notion to only be with a spouse (waitin' to get married) or just a couple people, I am really glad I'm not bumbling around like I did in my teen years, where I'm sure I did little for girls but take their time while I got off.

With that higher number, I don't feel the pressure to do the deed so much now. I can wait before bedding a girl, whereas I wasn't always so restrained.

And I would rather know I gave a woman one great night even if that's all I get, than just hit it alot while she's reading Cosmo over my shoulder or filing her tax returns......
