well thats good to know, especially with other people (on some websites I found) saying things like "I've given up water for cleaning, all I need to do is spray some Honda Polish and the bike is good as new!"They changed the formula a couple years ago epa stuff, doubt its as good. I have a can thats 5 years old, I use it for clear lense protection and cleaning, but really its cleaning is not that great imo for much else.
I wouldn't.Good to hear some differing views
I guess what I'm asking is what sort of solvent it is- if it's safe to use on lubricated parts?
Water is a more effective cleaner than Honda Polish/cleaner, I tried it on dirt one time worthless as far as that, but its an okay quick polish/cleaner on clear lenses after of course cleaning with water or on already cleaned paint ready for some kind of polish.Good to hear some differing views

it works by magic and that is all you need to know.
I wish they made an 'extra hot' version. Its the cleaning equivalent of Frank's Red Hot.
For the most part, I no longer use water to clean my bike, I just spray it with Honda polish and it looks just like new.well thats good to know, especially with other people (on some websites I found) saying things like "I've given up water for cleaning, all I need to do is spray some Honda Polish and the bike is good as new!"
So it's like WD-40 but with wax instead of mineral oil.It contain petroleum distillates, solvents and wax.
You know, if you can find it, Trappey's Red Devil is every bit as good as Franks Red Hot and it's probably half as much, fyi. My dad and I switched over recently.I wouldn't.
The ease at which it removes chain crap tells me I don't really want it in my rollers. Most of the other bearings on the bike are sealed thought so its not that big of a deal.
Otherwise yeah, I use that shit on everything. Its the cleaning equivalent of Frank's Red Hot.
