OMG!!!
1st off, I 100% believe that this track's new surface rivals Barber's in terms of smoothness and grip...It is simply amazing...Raymond sure has gone the extra mile to make this THE track of the Mid-West...That is for sure...
The new layout is awesome, you can rail thru the carousel, and we were not even running close to race speeds today...The amount of grip, plus having the banking, is just awesome...Imagine turn #2 at Barber, only just slightly uphill...
They have even re-paved the hot-pit walls with new concrete...That is how much attention to detail they have put into it...
I can't wait to ride it again...They are still adding more things, (brake markers, blend lines, etc...) but even still, was a great time...
Thanks to Mike Casey for being a great host...Nice, short and to the point riders meetings...Not only that, but I can count over 5 time when either Chris or Mike asked me for feedback on the program layout, track conditions, etc...They want feedback, and are listening...
Bottom line, if you didn't come out today, you missed out...Take off work, call in sick, do whatever you need to do to make the next one...
Great Job had TONS of fun...
