250s are great bikes especially to start on. Keep it for a few years and go do trackdays if you want and you will learn a ton. Minus the DC sticker crap you have all over it, it looks like a great bike. Glad to see more companies coming out with 250s/300s

Sport riding is a state of mind. Motorcycles come and go. Just keep your soul pure and you will be OK. What matters is what is in your heart, not between your legs.

Welcome Benny!

This is the best forum on the internet. Not just for sportbikes. Spend a few hours and a lot of laughs checking out the Funnah pic thread in the open forums. Another good thing is the porn on here escapes the evil scrutiny of my Workplace Cyber Natzi policy.

Awesome bike, good choice. The DC sticker on the side looks good, not big on the one on the windscreen. Did you put all the leds on yourself?
Yeah i put all the accessories and mods on myself,i suppose thats why i have so many, its half the hobby to me,messing around changing this n doing that.........Thanks for the compliment man

Peace

Its actually very refreshing to find new guys starting small. Most people that rode dirt insist they qualify for a 1000cc. I started on a 500 with minimal riding experience. I'd imagine that new 250 is really fun. Kind of like a Miata. Kind of sucks you were expecting to be shunned for having a 250. What has the riding community come to? :wtf

Culture and geography, in part. In Asia 250 IS a big bike. Or was when I lived there. People actually use motorcycles as transportation. Back in the 60's and 70's, when I spent a lot of time in Asia, it wasn't all that unusual to see a family of 4 with luggage going somewhere in a 50cc Honda moped.
It beats walking and the bus might only come twice a day.
Here in the land of the big PX, motorcycles are toys, or hobbies. If all you want is transportation in a metropolitan area with a mild climate, a motorscooter is ideal. Quick thru traffic, great gas mileage, relaxed riding position, etc. They work well in some of the urban parts of the USA. Not out in fly-over America though. When it's a 80 mile round trip to pick up a pack of cigs and a 6 of 24's, you want to be riding something that can do the run in less then an hour, including shopping time.
