You also gotta remember KH, back then, only several movies would open in a month so you only had a few choices. Everybody was pretty much seeing the same movies...especially the real "Blockbusters" like when Star Wars rolled out. Not the daily "Blockbusters" we get now.

Disney has changed...I honestly believe Walt Disney was a master of his art and believed in the magic of a child's imagination . But nowdays it is just another Corporation digging for your dollars.
Some of the stuff is like soft porn.
All of their cartoons now have flatulence jokes or references to asses...crap like that...
Even Nemo, the part where they start giggling and going "He's gonna touch the butt...he's gonna touch the butt!!!" (boat)
Me and my wife are opened minded and have no issues with sex but that makes me cringe every time. It does not enhance the story in any way and would be just as entertaining as saying boat. But they know that children get tittilated at that age by references to human anatomy and bodily functions so they pander to that. It's a cheap way to get laughs instead of good humor.
Compare Jasmine to Snow White.
And I can still watch Cinderella or Snow White with my baby girl and enjoy the movie for what it is. They are truly entertaining and funny.

Could it be the lack of originality and creative thinking that our culture is creating. Hmmm should we write a movie that is original but may not be a multi million dollar blockbuster or just shell out some old remade schlock that we know people will go to cause they already know the story line and characters and won't have to think too hard.
