Can someone explain what I need to repair/replace Damaged ingnition on my yzf600r. Someone attempted to steal it and broke up with a screwdriver and Drill.

What all did they damage? You may need a new ignition and i'm guessing if they got a screw driver in there you need one.

The ignition is trashed, I ordered a new one, Just need to know the best way to get the old one off.

you got to turn the wheel for the side you are on then take out the bolts from the bottom

Everone loves this part just take the bolts out and the lock will slide right out great theft protection huh.

replacing an ignition switch is quite simple. probally held on by two bolts, and when you see how simple the little mechanisim is you will be amazed. nothing to it.
