I friend was trying to teach someone to ride his Kawi ex250 and started out real good in a parking lot and after about an hour on it, the owner told the new rider to go ahead and ride around in the empty industrial park. Well he dumped it no ones hurt but the whole clutch assembly and pedal are bent backwards...the little rubber grip on the pedal is stitting on top of the footpeg. Its also leaking gas from somewhere when its running. The bike started after about 20 mins but when you rev it it dies.
I just want to know if the clutch assembly just needs to be replaced or if the entire clutch is trash. The way its bent its like he went to up-shift and bent the lever from 9 o'clock up and around 12 and is currently at about 3. Please tell me I just need a new clutch lever assembly:twofinger
