So yesterday on lunch my bike stalled, no warning signs, sputtering or backfire. It just shut off, I thought id hit the kill switch on accident.
I pulled over and it re-started just fine. Then yesterday evening I was troubleshooting and looking for obvious signs. I test rode it around and the same thing happened.
I rode it to work today without any problems. Im thinking a faulty kill switch.

What do you guys/girls think?

I'm thinking the same thing as you.

Could also be a faulty sidestand switch if your bike does it in gear.

Does it happen at random times or just when you go over a bump???

just randomly, twice now no bumps

fz6 killswitch gets crap on contacts. Clean it with contact cleaner or get a new switch. (unless the battery terminals are loose)

Wouldnt the bike keep running if the terminals came loose thou?
