I think you should go to one of those Build-a-Bear stores and see if you can find some protective equipment for your rider. Your rider's safety is your responsibility and if something were to happen think how you would feel if your Bunny got hurt.

I doubt a "he" would be wearing pink. (She's gonna kill me now)

Turns out Mr Bunny (Sorry Jim... Easter Bunnies are pink... regardless of gender) does not ride mirror very well. He went in the tail bag with his head sticking out after the first stop. I need to figure out a better way to "tie one on!"

Three more weeks to figure this one out.

Ooh- tough call. Attaching furry plush animals to one's bike is more of an art form than a science. I would say: sew some velcro to his little paws and have him hug the mirror. Or maybe some little snaps.

(and yeah, i have my own sewing machine for just these occasions. and i'm NOT gay. not really, anyways)

Zip ties would be authentic, but perhaps a little bondage.

At least get the little cutie some eye protection!

Now I'm impressed that you have one and that you can use it. I have my grandmother's sewing maching which made wonderful clothing items thirty years ago... but I just look at it... and think that maybe... one day... I'll learn to use it... or in another few years it'll be 100 years old and I'll sell it on e-Bay.

Zip Ties... Why didn't I think of that? Brillant! (said with British accent)
WOAH! you hadn't already considered zip ties? And you ride an FZ? Isn't there some kind of golden zip tie award for you guys? Guess you're not getting it...

I had assumed that you already thought of that, but had dismissed it out of thoughts for the bunny's comfort.

A zip tie around each wrist and ankle. Run the ankle ones in between the bottom of the shield and windscreen. Run the wrist ones to the mirror stalks.

Spread eagled and out there!

I bet a tennis ball would be about the right scale for a helmet and it would continue the fuzzy theme.
