swamp ass guy here.

anyone heard of anyone using a heat shield like this under the seat?

http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product?storeId=10101&Pr=p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2002963&TID=8014524&productId=2002963&catalogId=10101

coincidently a guy here at work was telling me he saw a new bike but the exhaust was under the tail like mine, he hadn't seen that before. he asked if the seat got hot and I said yes, so he mentioned doing this.

so anyone here try or heard of doing this? and has anyone ridden both types of bikes notice an increase in heat over the other?

i got the anti-monkey butt yesterday and tried it out, but i rode at night time but it was cool out so need to really give it a test on saturday.

I might give that a try. The RC sure does get hot in summer. I think one under my seat would help.

I'm guessing they have this at Home Depot or autozone?
