Hi all, I have a 2001 Suzuki Katana 750. The petcock is stuck to only the "on" position. I believe it's a vacuum petcock. Only real way to fix this is to replace the petcock. For various reasons I want to sell the bike for what I can get but I want to show it running. I drained the carbs completely before storing it outside over winter, there is no fuel in the carbs. Because the petcock is stuck I can't put the petcock into "prime". I put 10 litres of fuel in the tank good battery cranks over but won't start because of this (ran like a champ till I drained the carbs). Is there anyway I can get fuel into the carbs without having to go to the trouble to replace the petcock? Once I get fuel into the carbs bike will start all the time and run forever until I drain the carbs or completely run out of fuel...
